Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and EYO Consulting LLC-FZ, trading as Giftling (“Giftling”). They are written in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us at hello@giftling.co.za.
The service
Giftling lets a parent or legal guardian create a giving page for their child: a gift registry, experience plans, and details of accounts givers can contribute to. You must be 18 or older and the child’s parent or legal guardian to create a profile.
What Giftling is not
- We do not hold or move money. Givers buy gifts from retailers directly, or transfer money directly to accounts you control. Giftling records what happened; it never touches the funds.
- We are not a financial adviser. Nothing on Giftling is investment advice. Account details shown on a page are put there by the parent, and contributions are a private matter between giver and family.
- We do not vet retailers or venues. Links to shops and experiences go to third-party sites we do not control.
Subscriptions
Every family starts with a free 30-day Premium trial for one child — no card required for it. After the trial, a paid annual subscription (billed by Stripe) keeps full editing access, with one child included and each additional child charged yearly; if you let it lapse, your pages remain visible but read-only, and nothing is deleted. You can cancel any time from your dashboard, effective at the end of the paid period.
Your responsibilities
- Only create profiles for children you are the parent or legal guardian of.
- Share a child’s code only with people you trust — anyone with the code can view the page.
- Double-check any bank details you display. Givers transfer directly to them, and we cannot reverse a transfer made to a wrong number.
- Do not upload unlawful content or use Giftling to harass, defraud or spam.
Content
What you and your givers put on a page stays yours. You give us the licence we need to store it and show it to the people you share the page with — nothing more.
Liability
We provide Giftling with care but “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, for transactions between givers and families, or for third-party sites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot be limited.
Who you are dealing with
Giftling is operated by EYO Consulting LLC-FZ, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (registration number 2419380), trading as Giftling. The service is offered to families in South Africa and this agreement is governed by South African law. Reach us at hello@giftling.co.za.
Ending things
You can delete your profiles and account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. South African law governs this agreement.
